Created by Brazilian artist Leopold Numan the project spotlights Brazilian writers, actors and creators through a bold mix of monologues, hybrid performances, and theatrical experimentation. (Wed to Sun, March 18 to 22) The 33rd Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival (SDLFF), featuring an in-person, 5-day celebration of Latinx cinema, culture, and arts. The event highlights over 100 films, including independent shorts and features from the U.S. and Latin America, and this year with a special focus on women and indigenous filmmakers. The film festival, known for showcasing diverse narratives in the San Diego region, is organized by the Media Arts Center San Diego and through the years have by tradition, featured at least one Brazilian film.

(Sept 14, 2025 to July 26, 2026) Jaws: The Exhibition Los Angeles at the Academy Musuem of Motion Pictures is a FREE to attend admission for children under 17. For adults, standard admission costs $25. The newest temporary exhibition looks at Steven Spielberg’s groundbreaking blockbuster film Jaws (1975). It is the first-ever exhibition of this scale at the Academy Museum, focused exclusively on a single film, and the largest mounted exhibition ever for Jaws, the Oscar-winning film from Universal Pictures. It celebrates the film’s 50th anniversary and revisits Jaws scene by scene, through original objects, behind-the-scenes revelations, and interactive moments.

The Summer Sessions Free Outdoor Concert at the Getty Center in L.A – Each year the series presents a diverse lineup of musical talents, many of whom mix and match musical traditions and genres. The series showcased a myriad of musical styles, from hip-hop, blues, and rock, to Latin boogaloo, Afro-Peruvian jazz, Mexican cabaret, merengue, electronic beats, Indian rhythms, and even Algerian trance music.
