A versatile and passionate Brazilian musician, Daniel began his musical journey at the young age of 13, studying bass at the Curitiba Conservatory of Brazilian Popular Music in his hometown of Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil. His early exposure to the rich rhythms of Brazilian music inspired him to dream beyond borders – and one day, to study and perform internationally.
In 2001, Daniel made that dream a reality when he moved to Los Angeles, California, to study at the Los Angeles Music Academy (LAMA) in Pasadena. There, he earned his degree in Music with an emphasis in Jazz Guitar, studying under world-renowned instructors such as Frank Gambale, Jeff Richman, Ross Bolton, and privately with Sid Jacobs. More recently, Daniel expanded his expertise by studying music mixing and production with Adam Moseley, further refining his sound.
A Master of Many Instruments

He also plays bass, cavaquinho (a small 4-string Brazilian instrument widely used in samba and choro), ukulele, and several traditional Brazilian percussion instruments. This multi-instrumental skill allows him to seamlessly blend Brazilian rhythms with global influences – creating a sound that is both authentic and refreshingly modern.
