Known for artisanal fishing, rafts, natural pools, warm turquoise waters, and delicious seafood, the city is located on the northern coast of Alagoas state in the northeast region in Brazil. Maragogi is the second largest tourist center of this state and about 124 km from the capital Maceió. From there, vessels which have as destination the “Galés”, coral reefs with natural aquariums that gather fish, crustaceans and corals of varied species, ideal for observation with the use of a snorkel, depart.
