100th Issue Party Celebration
The event celebrates the issue 100th of Feb/March 2020 and will bring quality Brazilian entertainment and an homage to the Brazilian artist’s residents of Southern California that have contributed to disseminate the rich Brazilian culture through the golden state. The event will be held at the Restaurant Samba in Redondo Beach from 8 pm and 1 am and includes a Red Carpet for the artists and special guests between 7.45 pm to 9.15 pm. The event is in part sponsored by USEND, Contemporanea Musical, Andrea Orsi Beauty Lounge, Kisuccess Media & Marketing, and Samba Restaurants.
Brazil is the biggest and only country south of the border to speak Portuguese and is known for its spectacular magic soccer, tropical and white sand beaches, beautiful and sexy women, charismatic and festive people, and of course, the spectacular music and colorful carnival.
In this “five hours experience,” you will have the pleasure of enjoying a variety of Brazilian rhythms that range from bossa nova and forró to classical samba and batucada, in addition to the reggae of a Brazilian band influenced by the rhythms of the state of Bahia, as well as a lively and festive atmosphere with many local Brazilian celebrities among artists, actors/actresses, models, producers, and influencers.
Among the attractions on stage we will have the versatile singer and guitarist Fabiano do Nascimento who will bring us a bit of his new “bossa”; singer Alessandra Steen who will be accompanied by guitarist Rogerio Peixoto and will presents some forró and “MPB”; the group Tropibloco (led by an Argentine with a Brazilian heart) that brings us a little of what Brazilians call “marchinhas de carnaval” and other Brazilian rhythms; the group Samba da Mudança (led by a German in love with Brazil) that comes with its rhythms of batucada and axé; and Jahgun and Justfyah as the main headliner with his reggae and Afro-Brazilian influences.
We also will have a short demo of Brazilian Funk featuring Kameron com K and a special participation of DJ Germano Kuerten (EDM and more). Some of the samba dancers that have for years performed in various pri-vate and public events in California also have confirmed their collaboration in this Soul Brasil magazine event celebration such as Ana Massete, Jennifer Parker and Tati Bombon (More TBA).
Soul Brasil magazine was born in June of 2002 and since then has published 100th issues and hundreds of ex-clusive articles for the website www.soulbrasil.com, with a variety of content, in English and Portuguese. In one way or another, it helped the dissemination of Brazilian behavior, art and culture in the United States (and in particular in California), as well in the awareness for a healthier life and conscious living – Soul Brasil magazine is the Brazilian media in the United States pioneer in the “go green” movement.
