Trout, a fish from the river and easy to be found in American supermarkets at a reasonable price, can become a sophisticated meal if you add fresh herbs as rosemary and white chardonnay wine on its preparation. In California, for instance, the rosemary grows everywhere and can be found even without extra expenses maybe in your own backyard! In this state, chardonnay wine with good quality and low cost can be found in gourmet supermarkets as Trader Joe’s.
- Ingredients:
2 entire trouts, 4 garlic cloves, english potatoes (cut in 4 or 8 pieces), 2 tomatoes (cut in 4 or 8 pieces), 2 fresh rosemary stick, 20ml of olive oil, 50ml of white wine, 50ml of vegetable brot, salt and pepper
- How to prepare:
Clean the fish, season with rosemary and garlic putting them inside the fish. Add salt and pepper at your own and in a dish with the pre-cooked potato, add the tomatoes pieces, the olive oil, the white wine and vegetable broth. Put in the oven at mind temperature or 400F for approximately 25-30 minutes.
Serve with vegetables as carrot and broccoli and/or your favorite type of rice. Enjoy!
