Gaucho from Porto Alegre, Brazil, Angelo moved to Los Angeles in 1997, when he received a scholarship to pursue his Masters degree at University South California (USC). He started singing and playing guitar still as a child when he was six years old. Son of a music teacher, he gets his bachelor’s degree in classical guitar from the UFRS (Federal University of State Rio Grande do Sul).
He has a vast music teaching experience and has taught at all levels, from elementary school to university here in Los Angeles. As a performer, Angelo is an active solo/sideman/recording artist, having performed in hundreds of sessions and live shows through Southern California. He also writes and records music for films and commercials.
Currently he is performing as a solo artist, with his Quartet or Trio “Braza”, with rock band Bunnynose or with the JLB Jazz Collective. Angelo is also a respected electronic musician specialized in vintage analog synthesizers. To check his page on Facebook click here.
